It's the middle of April and all the new starters are slowly trickling in, lots of questions, unsure of what books to buy, etc, etc. Brings back memories for us in the later modules, yes?

To all the Bham on-campus students, we welcome your collaboration. I hope you enjoyed the presentation on March 6th and my wish is for you to be able to use this site to advance your studies and to contribute to the Birmingham strength through collaboration.
I apologize for the 'time delay' from when you sign up to being able to access the site. The site has been attacked by hackers and spammers, so this is only to prevent them getting in. Once you create an account, it may take a few hours before you are able to get in.

Book Review Section

The book review section has been added to the web site. There are two sections. One is for viewing the articles and books that others have put up. The other is for adding to the list. If you have any books or articles that you recommend for the MA course, put it in! Give some details on why you recommend it and for which module. I look forward to building my library!

MASH IT UP in Osaka 08 was a complete success

There were 24 people who attended.
There were 9 presenters.
There were 9 excellent feedback sessions.

It was fantastic to see so many turn out to the very first MASH IT UP event. There are nothing but positive comments from those who turned out to take part either as presenters or as audience. Everyone participated, everyone took away something, everyone gained valuable insight as to what we can do for our professional development and most importantly, for the people who we will impact as a result of this incredible collaboration.

See you all again at MASH IT UP Tokyo 08 - May 25th!

Osaka MASH IT UP event!

The Osaka event is coming up in a few weeks! Presenters - good luck preparing! The presentation slots are full, but we hope to see Bhammers come out to watch the presentations and share in the discussions.

Application for MASH IT UP event in Osaka

The deadline is looming for the Osaka MASH IT UP event. You don't need to give a presentation to attend, just come to listen to the talks if you like!

The next event is in May, in Tokyo. Let's make both these events a great success!
