I just had a look and noticed you fellows got the advert up on your page...great and thanks a lot! It will be at Chukyo University in Nagoya, we will have a featured speaker, workshops, paper presentations, and a symposium. There will be plenty of opportunities to collaborate on site with our Japanese colleagues. The theme is collaboration/synergism in English Education, basically, finding out more about our Japanese English Teacher colleagues and all the positive work and energy they are putting into language education...much of which we never hear about. Check out the JALT TLT for more information regarding call for papers. This is a regional event, and a very large one for JACET. We expect between 150-170 attendees and will have a number of presenters with a variety of sub-themes and topics. More on that once we vet the proposals. Anyway, thanks for the support and I hope to catch up with some of you there. By the way...it would be great to see a number of researchers from the U of B presenting. This is a great chance to present any papers/research students are working on or have already completed.
