- About Yourself
Hello Everyone,
Yes. Finished. And what an experience. I got so much out of it, and for those who have just started, get the most out of the program you can. How? Well, I took most of my papers and either had them published or presented them at Local and International conferences. I got my first two published (in-house...not bad, but not referred either...) and presented on Discourse Analysis (CDA) at the Japan Society of Language Sciences, Presented on Task Motivation (Mix of modules 2 and 3) at the JALT CUE Conference and most recently (Paper 4 CDA parts of it combined with Paper 5) presented at the International Learners Autonomy Conference...and if I can do it, so can you! I got started...uh...rather late on professional development, but the motivation I got from the U of B program was truely inpiring. I met some great people on the course and this forum is one way to keep up those contacts...so thanks for getting this up and running. Currently I am researching task completion and motivation and teacher training. Personal level: into mountain biking and 1/2 marathon racing!
